Terms of Service

Last updated 12 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Bidro website at bidro.io and the Bidro application at app.bidro.io (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

Who you're contracting with

The Service is provided by Bidro. Bidro is a business tool. You confirm you are using it for business purposes and have authority to bind the organisation you use it on behalf of.

The Service

Bidro helps you score bid opportunities, calculate margin floors, and record bid / no-bid decisions.

Alpha software. The Service is currently in an early-access ("alpha") phase. Features may change, be added or be removed, and occasional interruptions or defects are more likely than in a mature product. We will always act to protect the data you have entered.

Decision support, not advice. Bidro's scores, margin floors and verdicts are decision-support outputs calculated from the information you enter. They are not financial, legal or professional advice, and you remain solely responsible for your bidding and pricing decisions.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at alistair@bidro.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

Lifetime ("Bidro for Life") purchases

If you purchased a lifetime deal during the alpha:

  • It grants a licence for One User to use the Service for as long as we operate it, including future updates to the core product.
  • It is a one-time payment; no recurring fees apply to the licensed scope.
  • If we permanently discontinue the Service within 6 months of your purchase, we will refund you pro-rata.
  • Refunds are otherwise available within 14 days of purchase if you have not made substantial use of the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or disrupt it; resell or provide the Service to third parties without our agreement; reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law; or upload malicious code.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, giving notice where reasonable.

Your data and our IP

You own the data you enter into the Service. You grant us a licence to process it solely to provide and improve the Service. We own the Service itself — the software, design, branding and documentation.

On termination you may export your data; we will delete it in line with our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise: we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, business or data, or any indirect or consequential loss — including the outcome of any bid you do or do not submit. Our total aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

The Service is provided "as is" during the alpha phase; we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will give account holders at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
